In Memoriam: Paul Cellucci
April 24, 1948 – June 8, 2013
As a Senior Advisor to ML Strategies, LLC, Paul focused on identifying Canadian entities and companies who were in need of strategic guidance and representation before US federal and state agencies. This included the transportation sector, the financial services sector, and with a particular emphasis on the energy sector.
Paul offered more than 35 years of public service experience, including, as the US Ambassador to Canada, Governor of Massachusetts, and Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts. During his posting as the US Ambassador to Canada, Paul worked to strengthen and grow the trading relationship between the United States and Canada, our country's largest trading partner in the world, and he continued the integration of the North American energy market, both particularly challenging responsibilities after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.
Paul served as a key advisor for a Canadian biotechnology startup company, served on the Advisory Board of the Canadian American Business Council, and led the UMass ALS Champion Fund.
Paul served in the US Army Reserves from 1970 until 1978. He also served in the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC). He received his BS from the Boston College School of Management, and earned his JD from Boston College Law School.
