Manager of Government Relations & Public Policy
Max is Manager of Government Relations and Public Policy with ML Strategies. Prior to assuming this role, he was a Project Analyst for Mintz Levin and ML Strategies, where he gained experience working on a wide range of legislative and regulatory issues in Massachusetts, including health care, energy, the state budget, economic development, and campaign finance. Max also worked in Mintz Levin's Immigration, Litigation, Employment, Labor, and Benefits, and Health Law sections, and served as the coordinator of the Domestic Violence Project, the firm's signature Pro Bono initiative, which provides legal services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Max graduated from Tufts University in 2014 with a BA in International Relations, concentrating on International Security. He spent a semester abroad at the University of Sevilla studying Spanish, and traveled to Turkey to conduct a research project through the Institute for Global Leadership at Tufts on the Turkish model of government. Max was politically involved outside of class, interning in Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick’s Office for Federal-State Relations and Press Office. He also interned with ActBlue, an online Democratic fundraising organization, and worked as an organizer for Obama for America in Massachusetts during the 2012 Presidential Election.
